Website redesign for a company of industrial components

Atrebor Sas is a small-sized company in the province of Lecco specialized in the design, manufacture and marketing of hydraulic cylinders, pneumatic, hydraulic, vacuum, electrical and electronic components and equipment.

I was asked for a restyle of the company’s website, with the following objectives:

• to think about a better user experience, starting with a new architecture of information;
• to design a fresh new graphic customized for the client (the previous site was built with a preset Wordpress template);
• to build the new site in Wordpress.

Design

I used the previous graphic as a starting point to design the new interface in Figma. The graphic is characterized by the brand’s color, blue. Special attention was given to the website’s navigation experience by creating a mega-menu that provides an immediate overview of the company’s engineering products and services.

Building

I built the new Atrebor website in Wordpress. I was also responsible for the SEO optimization of the texts, the configuration of meta titles and meta descriptions, and the configuration of Google Search Console.

Final thoughts

The project’s challenge was to design a custom interface for the client that is different from the preset themes Wordpress themes. To do that I emphatized the photos and the graphic through fonts and vector graphics elements that echo the shapes of the logo pictogram.
